Szklarki Waterfall in the Giant Mountains - a stone's throw from the Hotel Sadyba Karpacz

The Szklarki Waterfall is located in the Karkonosze Mountains, just 25 km from Hotel Sadyba Karpacz. It's 13.3 meters high, which makes it the second, after the Kamieńczyk Waterfall, the highest waterfall in the Polish Giant Mountains. It is located at 520 m above sea level, in the area of the Karkonosze National Park. The most groundbreaking part of the waterfall, the so-called Wąwóz Szklarki, delights here - it narrows downwards and turns in a spiral.

The charm of Szklarki Waterfall

The first records about Szklarka came from the Middle Ages. It was contained in the form of images and descriptions, because it was considered extremely beautiful and romantic. Since 1968 there is a tavern and today a hostel under the name "Kochanowka".

In the area around the waterfall, we can also admire the unique marmites. At all the time of the year, this attraction has th unique charm, which can be enjoyed from the viewpoint.
